โ€œQuietly, Slowly, and...โ€

Beyond the window glass lies a landscape I often pass by without much thoughtโ€”and that is where my work begins. The blue mountains, various trees and flowers, the space that embraces them, and the air that flows around it all.

Within these scenes, which are neither remarkably new nor special, various emotions stir.ย

I take a piece of that scenery and carry it within my heart. Instead of exaggerated staging or dramatic scenes, I recall moments that seem to have come to a standstill. Capturing the time where light lingers and the fleeting atmosphere of nature catching its breath, I slow down and align my own breathing with it.

Slowly, quietly... I soothe the emotions wavering in my heart and visually unravel the sense of recovery. The process of layering and printing colors is an expression of the "emotions of time."ย

Through the colors revealed in the gaps between these intertwined layers, I give shape to the time of nature and the flow of my own time. What appears still is moving; what looks fragile embraces a strong inner core. Nature, as seen by the eye, holds stillness and rest, yet it revitalizes its surroundings with a resilient vitality. Me, You, Us.

Through nature, I learn how to stop and how to begin, filling myself with the fundamental energy to carry on with life. Thus, nature serves as a space that leads us to restore the sense of self-care by leaving behind a "blank space"
